Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment

SFH intervenes to reduce the burden of tuberculosis working within the private and public sectors. Our interventions optimize every stage of the TB cascade from the moment the patient walks into a facility to actively finding TB cases in communities. Through our activities, we facilitate the increased availability of TB services in the private sector. We engage providers at the patient’s primary point of care seeking, thereby improving the flow of persons with presumptive TB into detection and treatment systems. Our public & private mix model interventions are strengthening health systems to foster and sustain TB care.
