PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA (PSN) CONFERS HONOURARY TITLE ON SIR BRIGHT EKWEREMADU, MD SFH.
Ahmed Yakasai president of the PSN confers title of Honorary Membership of the PSN on Sir Bright Ekweremadu for his worthy contribution and promotion of the course of pharmacy profession within and outside Nigeria.
This award was initially presented on the 10th November 2017 at the 90th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). However, Sir Bright Ekweremadu who was unavoidably absent was honoured to have Ahmed Yakasai at the SFH HQ in person to present this award. In Nigeria, only four other persons have been given this title.
Sir Bright has a wealth of experience in social marketing of health products and services. He has led his organization, SFH Nigeria in pioneering health products which addresses HIV/AIDS prevention, Reproductive Health/Family Planning and Maternal and Child Health. Consequently, this has resulted in the increase of various ranges of products and services at a variety of prices in the Nigerian market made available to improve the lives of Nigerians.
Sir Bright holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 1987) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management (University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 1982). Sir Bright is also a Knight of John Wesley in the Methodist church. He is highly motivated, result driven and very passionate about his job. He employs these qualities effectively in steering the ship of governance in SFH Nigeria.
