The State Ministry of Health Visit to SFH Calabar Territory
Creating and maintaining synergy between government and implementing partners fosters a healthy work atmosphere which leads to better results for all stakeholders. This was the statement made by Dr. Patrick Mgbe, the new Director of State AIDS and STI Control Programme (SASCP), State Ministry of Health (SMoH) as he paid an advocacy visit to SFH Calabar office on the 12th June, 2017. He was accompanied by the focal person for ART, PMTCT, EID/HE and the State M&E officer. Dr. Patrick Mgbe stated that this was one of his many visits to implementing partners across the Cross River state since his recent appointment as the director. He commended SFH activities especially in hard to reach areas of the State and appreciated how SFH has maintained a longstanding relationship with these communities.
The Calabar team appreciated the visit and used the opportunity to give key details on current SFH interventions in the state.
