SFH CALABAR TERRITORY MEETS WITH THE CROSS RIVER STATE GOVERNOR
In Cross River State, Society for Family Health Nigeria was one of the key development partners invited to a meeting with the Executive Governor, Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade September 2017. The meeting was aimed at acknowledging organizations who had contributed to the improvement of the state’s health sector over the course of the governor’s administration. Especially, the tremendous reduction of mortality rate recorded in the state which was very laudable.
SFH Nigeria was represented by Dr. Ngozi Noel Ogamba, its Calabar Territorial Manager and her team. They had the opportunity of making presentations on the projects implemented in the state and airing SFH Nigeria’s future plans going forward, whilst soliciting for the state government’s continuous support and counterpart funding where necessary. Governor, Benedict Ayade commended all the organizations for honouring the invitation, adding that he is confident Cross River State will continue to make great strides in improving the health of its people.
