Sir Bright Ekweremadu, Managing Director Society for Family Health (SFH), along with a team of SFH staff received the executives of the National Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers (NAPPMED) on the 28th of July 2016 at the Society for Family Health (SFH) head office in Abuja.
During the courtesy visit, Sir Bright Ekweremadu commended the commitment of the executives of NAPPMED to sanitise the association and enjoined them to prioritise re-registration of members, adding that proper regulation will foster the interest of the association and strengthen the confidence of partners, donors, regulatory agencies and the government in the activities of NAPPMED
The national president of NAPPMED, Prince Joel Odoh, who led the team showed appreciation to SFH for its support, particularly in the areas of capacity building, commodity supply and partnership support. He also used the medium to invite the SFH team to participate in the 1st NAPPMED organised National Summit scheduled for August 28 – 30 in Abuja on the theme “The Role of NAPPMED in Healthcare Delivery in Nigeria”. The summit is part of the association’s activities to reposition and a platform to begin the re-orientation agenda and showcase the association. Over 3000 NAPPMED members are expected to attend the summit.
