(SFH Territory, Abia State) In Abia State, we paid the Abia State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ABSPHCDA) a courtesy visit .
Since November 2013, we have partnered with the ABSPHCDA in implementing the Abia RAcE iCCM Project. This project aims to increase access to treatment for malaria, pneumonia, and diarrheal disease among children under 5 through scaled-up integrated community case management (iCCM) programme.
Yesterday, the 12th of October, the management of SFH led by the Deputy Managing Directors: Dr Jennifer Anyanti and Pharm Kene Eruchalu paid a courtesy visit to the new Executive Secretary (ES) and Board members. The ABSPHCDA had been under the management of the Executive Secretary (ES), Dr Chukwuemeka Oluoha until the recent creation of a new ABSPHCDA Board with a new ES, Dr Chinagozi Adindu.
The Programme Manager, Mrs Chinwoke Isiguzo gave an ample presentation stating the details and importance of the Abia RAcE iCCM project in the 15 LGAs and concluded by soughting for the continued efforts of the state in sustaining the iCCM project in Abia State.
The Executive Secretary thanked the visiting team and used the forum to enjoin the staff and new board of ABSPHCDA to continue to give their unflinching support towards the RAcE iCCM project. He promised that in his capacity, he will do all within his scope to sustain the project.
